I formula fed all my kids, there perfectly fine and rarely get sick. Yes I agree!! People need to worry about their own baby!

This made me cry...thank you for this. I'm 10 days pp and a FTM. It's so hard to know how to do everything and heal and just keep your sanity. Other moms making me feel like shit for supplementing formula at night doesn't help at all. We all need to stick together and help each other. Otherwise someone is going to be responsible for someone else's major depression and something even worse...I wouldn't be able to live with myself.

My baby was in the nicu for 4 days for inhaling meconium  and her sugar level wasn't good. It was so hard for me to breast feed I never got the chance to hold her the time I gave birth. I was crying day n night for not producing milk at all, i was like no that's it I can't keep her like that and leave her without milk. I had no choice, since I always wanted to breast feed I gave her formula and she did better. I'm 9 days pp got milk the 6th day and I still feel like my milk isn't enough for her so I go half formula and half breastfeeding.

Thank you!!!! I just don't understand how some moms would rather let their child starve then to supplement with formula.. Then downgrade moms who formula feed but as long as your baby is healthy, fed and alive thats all that matter!!

My mother had five kids and due to prior radiation treatment for thryroids, we were only able to have formula. We all were perfectly healthy. I'm now 22 days PP and am breastfeeding and it is no easy task. It's very demanding and if for whatever reason o wasn't able to continue, I would give my son formula. Like you said, as long as you're feeding and caring for your child, who cares. Go mommas, keep supporting eachother instead of shaming!

My first baby was born via c-secrion and i had a very hard time with breastfeeding. Didn't have milk for a 7 days pp then when it comes it stayed for about a week. I used formula and she is perfectly healthy. This friday I have scheduled c-section with my secon girl and I'm already prepered for formula because you never know. I don't feel guilty at all. It is not my fault. Btw in my opinion todays food is not the same as it was years ago. It is full of pesticides and antibiotics and not everyone can afford buying only organic.

Agreed! I'm lucky enough to be able to breast feed since that's what I was hoping for, but if It wasn't working for me you better believe I would be doing formula and not feel guilty for feeding my child however I needed to!
