Kids at appointments?

Question

Do you take your kids to appointments with you? Today is the first day I may have to take my two boys. My husband will be there to watch them but they're all coming back with me also and I don't want them to be naughty.

I take my son with. He plays a game on my phone for most of it. I've been worried since finding out he would feel un loved cause of the new baby. So when it comes time to listen to the heart beat my doctor calls my son over and he gets to help find baby brothers heart beat. When i had to have my pap smear he sat on the bed by head and played on my phone. He's been getting more and more excited for baby to come. I love i can involve him in everything.

I try to schedule ultrasound appts, my NSTs and other longer/more involved ones for when my oldest 3 are in school. I have a helper (Nana, Aunt, Grandpa...) come with to help with my youngest. 
The shorter OB checks I bring them with. They play on my phone, watch a video on the tablet via clinic wifi or read books, play toys. 
My kids are 7, 6, 4.5, and 2. In my opinion they should be able to handle a 15 min appt. They have been to ultrasounds with a second adult and love seeing the littlest sister. Yes I am the pregnant one but she's OUR baby!

Depends on your kids and how they'll behave. I had to take my 2 yr old terror with me the last time and he'd was a perfect angel (shocker lol!) the nurses were so in love with him, giving him lollipops and crayons...the whole time I'm thinking "you little stinker" 😏 lol! But I see ladies with their kids with them in my doctors office for prenatal appointments all the time so I'm sure it's not a big deal. A tip: just bring lots of snacks, juice boxes, small toys (my son loves hot wheels), books, and I bought his tablet to keep him occupied. Good luck lol!

If I need to, yes. But luckily all of my appointments so far are when he's in school, and I go during work

I have a very well behaved 4 year old step-daughter. She comes with us everywhere to every appointment. She leaves the room with her dad if I have to get naked or anything though

My daughter has come to every single one. I might have someone watch her on Friday for the glucose screening but I'm a SAHM so I don't have much options plus I like her knowing we're going to see her baby sister and check up on her. My doctors office is very child friendly though they keep juice, crackers, and lollipops for the kids and usually I give my phone to my daughter (3) to keep her busy if I need to.

I have a 10 month old and sometimes I have to bring him. He's a great baby, but one time I had to bring him to a perinatal appt (which they take forever there), AND it was nap time. Talk about a nightmare. He wanted me to hold him, and she said I could let him sit on my chest during the ultrasound. Ugh, haha OK this kid weighs 22lbs, so I couldn't breathe... And he kept sticking his hand in the gel on my tummy haha.

I try my best not to take our daughter (who is 2). I've taken her once by myself for an emergent visit and once my husband and I brought her with because we didn't have anyone to watch her that day.

I have to take my 2 year old son with me. My hubby works or able to go also which helps. But as a working mother not wanting to miss work then YES I do take my son. He also has plenty of snacks & toys also to help keep him occupied.
