Feminism to me means choices. I support women being able to decide for themselves what life and life choices will work for them. I also support women having power to influence the world around them.

Not in terms of modern feminism. I am extremely grateful for feminist efforts of the past as I enjoy a life where I am viewed equal to my husband and any other man out there. However, I feel the modern feminism has tended to take things too far. I had a cousin get upset when my response to her question, " What do you want to do as a career?" with be a stay-at-home mom. She went off on how degrading that is to women nowadays and she felt sorry for me thinking that's what I HAD to spend my life doing. From that moment I was turn off to feminism, and a lot of what I've seen from "feminists" hasn't done much to improve my opinion.

I consider myself a feminist. I believe that it's your life and your body and you can do whatever you like with it as long as it's not hurting others or yourself. You want to be a house wife? Go for it! A nude model? Ok. An office worker? Sure. No matter your race, gender, sexuality, religion, weight or any physical or mental disabilities, I believe we are all equal until proven otherwise (by doing something like rape, murder, etc.)

Feminism is about equal opportunity. It's not about anything other than seeing men and women in the same light. Anyone who says they aren't a feminist, claims that they don't want the same opportunities for both men and women. It's okay to want a typical woman's job, or to have traditional ideals, but feminism is about having the option to do something that is "for men", to have the option to be of equal status, of equal value. If you're not a feminist, you're against gender equality.

Saddening to see these kinds of results especially on a women's app but then again most of the typo-ridden uneducated posts here tell a lot about the majority of users I suppose. 😊

I believe a lot of the same things a feminist does, but I will never call myself one. Simply because of the fact that whenever I've talked to feminists they were more for women over powering men and not for equality at all. And they didnt stick up for men who have been abused at all or anything like that. So I call myself an egalitarian.

All feminism is, is believing in equal rights between the sexes. As I'm for equality for everyone, I am a feminist. The reason is has the feminine gender association is because it's the underrepresented group, just as in Black Lives Matter.

By admitting one group matters/should have rights, under NO circumstances diminished other groups' worth or validity.
