Baby shower for twins?!

When is a good time to have shower with twins?

I'm having mine this weekend.. I will be 27 weeks.. I definitely think with twins, the earlier, the better... You don't want to be uncomfortable and miserable during your shower. I am already starting to feel that and a part of me wishes I had done it a few weeks ago when I was still feeling good!

I just had my on Saturday at 29+5. I wasn't too tired or cranky. I think if we would have waited any longer, I would have been a miserable biatch.

My family is throwing mine at 20 weeks because I have to travel for it. I think by then I'll have a cute little bump and won't be too miserable to fly.

I got put on strict bed rest at 26 weeks so missed an opportunity for a baby shower for the twins. 😔 So, a few of my girlfriends plan to come over this weekend with some gifts and food.  I have a big family and group of friends, so sad that the twins miss out on a regular shower. But, what can you do.. Just praying the bedrest will keep them in there as long as possible so they are not born too early. They are my 2nd and 3rd so don't need much for them anyway.  Just their  health, hopefully!

I'll also be having mine at 27 weeks. Earlier is definitely better, you really never know when you might deliver.
