When did your period start after d&c

Hi ladies! 
I had a d&c 3/14 after being diagnosed with a blighted ovum at my 9 week appointment. I'm very anxious and nervous to start trying again. I've read it can start anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks after but I thought I'd see if anyone has experiences with this personally. Also if you did get pregnant again how long did it take? My doctor said we need to wait for one period to try again. I feel like we've wasted so much time with this!

Exactly 5 weeks after. Friday 2/12 to Friday 3/18. We used condoms until my period came. That sucked. I ovulated before period, felt the pain and used test strips. Now ovulating again and praying. Wishing you luck ❤️

I am sorry for your loss. I had a D&C done on  February 7, 2016 and my period came on March 6, 2016. My husband and I decided to wait one cycle before we started to ttc again.
