Has anyone had a problem getting rid of bacterial vaginosis?? If you've gotten rid of it let me know how. Please help!!!

Stop using all soaps,  douches, refresh,  all of that is bad!!! Only think you should use down there is water!! No scented pads of Tampons!  Only cotton underwear!  Then tell your gyn to give you a months worth of the yeast infection pill. Fl? Something.  Can't think of it right now.  You need to take 1 pill every 3 days for a month straight!  Trust me!! I had 3 infections every month for a year straight and then I finally found this cure!!! Oh and take probiotics, acidophilus works best!

My doc told me to try Rephresh! You can get it at walmart. BV is caused by an obstruction in your normal ph levels. Rephresh balances your ph levels back out!

Yes!! I get it almost every month. I have saved the "Flagyl" antibiotics and if I just take 1 it gets rid of it. I have taken 3 rounds of it before and it always comes back it's just easier to save the pills now and just take 1 when I smell it.

I had it a few years ago and learned from my doctor that your partner can give it right back to you if they were not treated also. Bc guys don't show signs of it they don't know they have it.

Are you currently on birth control, or using a scented/dyed soap during shower? I was getting the infection frequently and my doctor suggested changed to a lower dose birth control and only using dove soap. Havent had it since then.

Oh my gosh it's the worst. I took flagyl pills then like three rounds of metro gel. I wanted to die cuz as soon as is stop the meds id get BV again. It went on for months and I got aoooo depressed. It's horrible. I cannot recommend probiotics strongly enough. I'm gonna get u the name now. It was a life saver. I don't normally go the non traditional route but 4 months later I was losing my mind. My self esteem was so low. Do it sooner rather than later!!!
