Abdominal ultrasound of my liver?

My doctor ordered an abdominal ultrasound of my liver, what will they be looking for? I used to be a social drinker over 2 years ago but it wasn't often and now I probably only have a few beers a year idk if that matters but just a bit of back story....

They tested my liver too it's got a name but honestly I don't remember what it's called they said its very rare so hopefully it's nothing

I had my liver ultrasound a couple years ago and i have fatty liver. Its really common now because people are more overweight but i need to lose weight for it to slowly go away. If you dont make a change, than it can progress i to something bad

They look for masses, echo texture  (to see if it is fatty), and to check for signs of cirrhosis.
