Dark brown discharge

Hi I'm 38 years old pregnant with my 4th one I had a slight bleeding on Saturday went to the hospital got a scan done baby was fine doc said maybe placenta had moved

Since then getting dark brown discharges went again to the hospital had a scan done baby is fine but but doc said placenta is low and to take bed rest has anyone else experienced this I also I'm traveling tomorrow
