Hi! I guess i just want to hear some opinions on the subject. In early jan. I was going through the process to join the military. My father was a marine and my little brother is joining as well. So i did my asvab and physical and everything was good to go...my ship date was april 25th. But on jan. 31st i found out i am pregnant! My husband and i are very excited...but my mom seemed to think i used this as "an excuse" to not join the marines. I dont think she believed i could do it. My dad believes in me. And its my dream to become a marine. So my husband and i talked about me still joining about 6 months after i have the baby so that by the time he or she is 1 we would be set! I know its a little time away from them but the way i see it its a lifetime of a brighter future for us. I am just wondering if anybody here has done this or has thought about it. I want my baby to know u can do anything you put your mind to..
