Sleep Plan???

Question

Are you and your husbands/partners still sleeping in your bedroom together with baby when he goes back to work?

We're trying to figure out a plan like buying a twin bed for the babies room and I sleep there or sleep on the couch for a couple nights so my husband can be rested for work.

Gonna sleep in the same room. Hubby will also get up for feedings. He will do the earlier feeds and I will take the later ones. I would not sleep in anther room so he can get more rest unless he has a dangerous job where he needs the rest. It's his baby too and we shall be exhausted together.

Before DS came, we had talked about putting a bed in our spare room for DH to sleep in and I was going to take the master. For whatever reason, we just didn't do it. If it works for you guys, then do it. :)

Honestly, I prefer to cosleep, buuuuut DH hates the idea of it even though we did with our first. So the crib that baby refuses to sleep in is in our room. We got a rock n play and DS will sleep in that most of the time. And our 6 year old has been extra clingy since DS arrived and is now sleeping in a cot in our room. We're a mess!!  😆😆

Yes we are still sleeping together, baby sleeps in his bassinet and I get up in the night to get a bottle or my husband will get up and get it for me then go back to sleep once I start feeding him

He's sleeping in the guest bedroom while me and the baby sleep in our room. My husband travels all over the state for work though so I don't want him to be exhausted while driving. It's not easy by any means, but I want him to be safe.

Told my husband to sleep in the other room. In my opinion why bother both the parents when am gonna be breastfeeding so he doesn't need to be exhausted. I can sleep when baby sleeps (maybe).

We are keeping the bassinet in our room, strictly out of convenience for me. I did force my husband to change sides of the best with me, so I would have a shorter trip to grab the baby when she wakes up.
