Baby shower gifts

Okay, I'm going to be breastfeeding my daughter when she gets here, as I did with my son. I found a baby bottle that I want to use and after looking at reviews and seeing it being used in action, that's the only one I want. With my son I didn't research it and he fell victim to nipple confusion and I had to stop breastfeeding earlier than planned. I told my boyfriends mom and showed her the bottle and she basically told me she was gunna do what she wanted and get what SHE thought would work. I have decided to make a list to send out with my baby shower invites of thing I WILL NOT be using this pregnancy. Is that rude, because I honestly don't think it is. She is my daughter and after falling victim to my boyfriends mom being controlling, I will not fall for it again. He thinks I'm being rude and mean but I see it as this is what I want for my baby and that's that.
