How long before your due date will you leave work?

How many days/weeks/months did you or do you plan to go out on leave? I keep thinking I want to work up until a week before my due date but this is my first pregnancy, so I really have no idea what to expect!

Until my water breaks on the office floor ideally lol. I want to spend as much of my maternity leave with my little one as possible.

My first I worked til a day before due date, and went to school on my due date, I ended up having her next day. Second I had to leave work at 31 weeks due to medical issues and had her at 41 weeks. And I'm 20 weeks now and doctor is debating taking me off work cause of preeclampsia. My point is you never really know how long you can make it.

My due date is July 26th, but due to high blood pressure the doctors are thinking they will induce in the 5th. So I plan on working through June. However next month I am cutting my hours.

I left work 9 days before my due date.  Had him on the 11th day.... It was nice to have that week and 1/2 to clean the house and finish packing bag, take walks, take naps, read....I loved that time alone before baby!   However, this pregnancy is only in the 13th week and I'm already having complications so who knows.... maybe I'll end up with more time off before labor. 😕

I worked up to the day I turned 39 weeks. I'm 40+5 with my first and still waiting for baby to come. It's been nice to have this time before baby, though.

I work fulltime as an RN until 37wks when it became dangerous for my pts and myself. I gave birth at 39+2.

I worked until Christmas Day and had my daughter on January 8th . I worked at a jail so it was a bit hectic towards the end

Unless there are medical reasons outlined by your doctor you might as well work up until you can!  I worked on a Thursday and went to the hospital that night, gave birth the next day.  Kept me busy and active instead of sitting at home just waiting anxiously

Due April 20 I wanted to work till due day but today is day 1 of Dr ordered bed rest. Already super bored.
