How inconsiderate, or am I being over dramatic???? ),:

I am a FTM, this will be my mothers 2 grandchild after 7 years. 
She went and called me this morning and says "Don't have Greyson anytime soon. (Even though he could come any day now) she said cause my sister planed a surprise get away for her to go to Puerto Rico April 1-8 ....my mom was so mad at them for doing that knowing that it was around my due date. But all my sister and step dad said was "she will understand" EHAT THE FREAK!?
 I immediately busted out in tears.....all I will want is my mother to be there...... I'm sorta freaking out and it's so inconsiderate for my sister to do that(she's never been pregnant and doctors say she can't get pregnant, so my whole pregnancy she hates when we're around her talking about it) idk if she did this on purpose but all I know is she doesn't give two Effs about how it will make me feel.... !!! Why couldn't she have set it up for April 20  or something...... I'm so mad and upset idk what to think, and I being selfish??? 😒☹️😔😔😔😢

It's not selfish, I'd be irate and probably punch her and tell her to grow the f up. That is uncalled for. She knew and probably did do it on purpose, and I'd be upset too. You should have your mama there it's an amazing experience becoming a mommy and being able to have your mom there makes it more comfortable.

Definitely not being dramatic. I would be so upset!!! Especially this being your first!!! I would honestly confront your sister and ask why she would do that so close to your due date. I would tell her that it was really nice of her to do that for your mom, but that it was VERY important for you to have your mom there for the birth. And then see if she can move it. If it was my mom, she wouldn't go. Baby is much more important than a vacation you can take any time!

That's messed up. My uncle was asking my mom to accompany my grandparents to Mexico because they're elderly. And it's the week I'm due. She said "no, my daughter is due that week" mom I love you for thinking of me! I'm very happy she didn't think of going. Plus there are several other siblings that can go. Why my mom?? Any ways sound like your mom isn't happy with that situation either. Good luck!!

You are not being inconsiderate at all! I know how you feel, my family is extremely close and BOTH of my grandmothers planned trips during the date of my scheduled c section! And one of them asks every week if I'll have him earlier since she'll be gone 😒.  It upset me for a while but I'm mostly over it now. But if it we're my mom, I don't think I could get over that. Hopefully your mom will tell your sister she shouldn't have planned a trip near your due date and she won't go.
