Are these pregnancy symptoms?

Okay so I have been trying to get pregnant the past few months so I have been off of my birth control for about 3-4 months. Since I've been off of my birth control, I should be having my period every month BUT I haven't had it since right after I stopped taking my birth control. Me and my boyfriend had sex the other night and while I was "cleaning myself up" I noticed a little light pink/brownish blood, and it only was when I was cleaning myself up and it was not a period. I have taken two equate pregnancy tests at the same time around lunch time and both were negative. Could they be wrong? If not, what could this be?
