Should those affiliated with isis be permitted re-entry into Canada?

I'm not referring to Muslims. They are two different things. I'm talking Isis. 80 people who left Canada are back in after coming back from being members of Isis. What's your opinion? Mine is if they made the choice to join isis they should not be let back in the country. It scares me to think of Isis members being openly allowed in Canada

No. Sorry, if you abandoned your family and country to join a terrorist group, you will never convince me that you've suddenly seen the error of your ways and want to come back. They are brainwashed, taught to lie and assimilate so they can then follow through with an attack, that is literally everything ISIS does! Why on earth anyone even consider believing them?

Anyway, without doing any in depth reading my initial thought is that it's safer this way. I'm assuming they've all renounced extremism, and haven't been actually convicted of any crimes. This way the Canadian government can keep track of them and their activities.

If they're in earnest they can meld back into mainstream society, if not they can track their activities and contacts and maybe even bust sleeper cells or prevent future attacks.

I can imagine it's frightening, but it's probably better than leaving them in a war ravaged area where they're more likely to become active militants.
