Presented me with a couple of options for a shower or the baby. She was going to do a shower for me but I think she felt we didn't have a huge family plus she wants to help with the bigger stuff so when she told me she can give me money rather than a shower I told her money

What gets me upset is other people comment like oh her family isn't throwing her a party
