Baby poop.

My baby is 11 days old and formula fed. She hasn't had any issues and all the sudden started pooping like crazy. 7 times yesterday and 7 times since midnight and it's only 4pm. Her little butt is getting raw and I've been putting cream on every time I change her now. Is she pooping too much? What could be causing this? No fever no other symptoms. A little fussy sometimes but it's not a lot. I'm waiting for the dr to call back. I feel like I'm overreacting but I'm nervous.
