I work in the NICU and have admitted babies who have inhaled the oils from coconut oil the momma put on her breasts and the baby got pneumonia - PLEASE BE CAREFUL! If you choose to do it be cautious of the amount you put on and how long you wait between application and BF

I found it to help much more than lanolin. Only downside is it can stain clothes.
