TTC After 4 Years Of BirthControl

I was on birth control for 4 years, 2 years on depo and 2 years and the implant. It's been 6 month since ive had the implant removed, my periods are somewhat irregular but come at the begining of every month and we try to concieve when im on my most fertile days. 6 month later still nothing. Walk in doctor said it could take another 6 months. Anyone been in the same shoes as me or in the same shoes right now? Any advice could help! Thanks!
