Possible Preeclampsia?

Hey girls! So I am 32 weeks pregnant today with baby #3 I had an appointment yesterday and got my first check done because I have had a couple episodes of contractions this month. I am 1 cm, 20% effaced, cervix is soft, and his head is so low my midwife could push up on it and I could feel him move up! I also mentioned to her in my appointment that I had loss of vision in my right eye a couple nights ago. She told me to keep an eye on it because it could be a sign of preeclampsia. My blood pressure is perfect... No swelling... But I did get a severe headache last night... I'm wondering if any of you ladies ever had preeclampsia without swelling or blood pressure issues... Or know anyone who has... I think if I keep getting the headaches or vision loss again I will go back in to have my urine tested for protein.

Sounds more like an oculular migraine to me. Since your blood pressure is fine. You can lose parts of your vision before a headache sets it. When I had pre eclampsia, swelling was my first symptom. It was mainly in my face, hands and feet. Followed by the protein in my urine before my blood pressure spiked. I never had headaches, just vision changes.

Almost always will have high blood pressure w/preeclampsia. The headache typically does not go away. Also sometimes the vision can do that from pressure of the baby or after/during a hot shower. I don't have preeclampsia but I have gestational hypertension being on the verge of preeclampsia. I'm tested every two weeks and my urine is tested every week. Also extreme swelling is a big indicator. My legs even swell. Overall if your bp is good you should be fine but I'd push for the testing because it is no joke and can be dangerous for both of you.
