Clomid??

Hi ladies. I see some of yall say the doc prescribed Clomid. I know its a prescription he gives which im sure helps concieve, but i was curious to know how or what u need to do to get it prescribed to you? & how it works?

Haley hit the nail on the head! But be warned they do run a lot of tests before they prescribe it and after it's prescribed to see if it works. It's not a cure-all pill and it's pretty tough stuff (for me at least) it gives me pretty bad hot flashes, headache, nausea and fatigue 😕 but I hope it works so I can finally get my baby!!👶

The dr will prescribe it to you after you have been trying to get pregnant for a year if you are under 35. If you are over 35, you can get help after 6 months. After trying for a year, you can go to the dr and tell them you are having a hard time getting pregnant and they usually will run a bunch of test and ask a ton of questions to try to figure out what is wrong. If they feel like you aren't ovulating, they will give you clomid. Clomid helps you ovulate when you aren't ovulating, which in turn helps you get pregnant.

I was prescribed clomid after 4 months of trying I am 28. I have irregular periods, and my obgyn knew I would probably need help. So it really depends on your obgyn
