Thumb sucker.

My daughter is 6 years old and she's been sucking her thumb since before she was born. Some people tell me that she'll stop on her own when she's ready and other criticize me that I haven't made her stop already. Am I a bad mom for letting her continue to suck he thumb or will she really just stop on her own when she no longer needs that as a comfort?
