How to get rid of hair dye stains?

I dyed my hair darker tonight but unfortunately i have a few stains on my hairline and neck. Do you know anything that works effectively to get it off/fade it?

Wet cloth usually works whilst it's wet. Stains usually go away with nail polish remover!

I always wipe it off with a wet cloth when I'm done dying my hair, like right after, and it usually comes off no problem. Just don't leave it on there for too long / while waiting for it to develop or it'll stain. I dye my hair black like once a month.

Using the actual dye helps and also rubbing your hair line and ears with Vaseline before you color
