My fiance really wants a baby he always has but ive been telling him to wait for 3 years now and I'm finally getting baby fever ever now and then. But I'm scared of being a mom because of how my mom was.What should  I do?

This is the quote that I really love when I am doubting being ready for motherhood myself. It helps me remember that I may not feel ready, but deep down, i can handle it. And everything will work out.

Just follow your heart though. If you really aren't ready to make that leap yet, don't do it!

I used to have the same fear! My mom was such a terrible mother, I was scared that if I had a child, I would be just as bad as her. My fear was so big that I never wanted to ever have kids. However, over time I began to realize that I could learn from my mothers mistakes instead of dwell on them. Now I can not wait to have a baby so I can give her all the love, respect and the great childhood that I never got. Don't let your fear or mother's mistakes hold you back!!!! But be sure you're really ready and really over your fears before having a baby, it's what's best for the child.

I'm sure you can wait till you're at least married. He's already your fiancé lol. We all get baby fever at some point young or old. You can wait it out. No difference really. Cept that he will be your husband and you got that ring on your finger girl.
