This is my first time breastfeeding and my LO is 6 days old. I used a pump today because my breasts were about to explode.. And I have no idea how to use the pump. Turned it on.. Pumped from both breasts.. Super happy to get 3oz out of each one. Bad thing is now I am swollen and my nipple is bleeding on the side. I am in so much pain. I don't want to introduce a bottle at all right now. Can I BF with a bleeding nipple? Should I just feed from one side for now? I feel stupid for messing up the pumping and now I am in pain and my LO may have to suffer. Can someone please help me on what to do?
