Maalox or a cheap brand of Maalox my doctor told me to take and it helps

Your doc can also prescribe (it even is available over the counter too) Omeprazole. It works for 24 hours and is great. I've been using it my entire pregnancy (I'm 15 weeks and a day today).

If tums doesn't work you can take Zantac which is the over the counter version of the stuff the doctor prescribes remember to always check with a pharmacist tho

My ob prescribed me prescription Pepcid ac but also said Zantac is safe and I want to say Prilosec OTC too. I just chose prescription because with insurance it's way cheaper than OTC version.

I can't stand the chalkiness of tums but the tums smoothies are good!  I get the mint ones and it's just like eating a breath mint.

You can mix 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water. It sounds counter intuitive, but it works!

Check with your OB (a quick call to their office will probably get you answers). I took Pepcid AC throughout my first pregnancy - One per day. No issues.

I was told only the stuff that has the calcium carbonate in it.. Unless it's prescribed.
