Baby Shower/Baby Necessities

So I'm not having a baby shower, just because it wouldn't really make sense. I moved to Texas about 2 years ago, but in those 2 years I haven't done school or had a job. So I don't really have "friends" here. If I had a baby shower it'd make more sense for me to go to Colorado, but I'd rather save that trip money for baby stuff. Can anyone recommend me some very necessary items that I'll want as a new mom on a tight budget? Our little girl is due June 30th and I'm feeling rushed and stressed for time. Thank you!!
