Breastfeeding and TTC? Anyone?

Hi! I've got a 3 month old and my husband and I just want to get started trying for baby #2.  Anyone have any experience wih that?  Still haven't gotten my period post pregnancy And I'm breastfeeding.  Also... Am I nuts?! Thx!!!

No you aren't nuts. The first thing is getting your period back which can take a while. For most women, if you go back to work or the baby sleeps through the night (you need a 4 hour time period each day where you do not breastfeed) or they start eating a lot of solids at 6 months. So you have probably 2 more months sans period unless you wean pronto. That being said, I didn't get my period back for 14 months after my 1st. But I breastfed and co-slept and baby wore and he wouldn't FOR THE LIFE of me sleep through the night (until 20 months old) or take a bottle. Trust me. I read all the books and tried EVERYTHING. After you get your period back you will have to do opks probably unless you are still breastfeeding (my tell was awful nipple soreness like 1st week breastfeeding nipple soreness). http://kellymom.com/bf/normal/ttc-while-bf/
