When exactly would you consider him a month old?

My LO was born March 3rd. Would he be considered a month old on March 31st which is exactly a month from when he was born or would it be April 3rd.

A month isn't four weeks - 28 days - unless it's this past February. Go by the date of birth

I've been doing the day from when he was born...so born January 20, we said 1 month was Feb 20th, 2 months was March 20th. It's honestly just easier that way and we'll obviously celebrate his 1st bday on the 20th so it just makes sense to me :)

My son was born 3/6 I'm going with the 6th of every month. But if my kid was born on the 31 I would go by weeks. I don't think it matters.

My son was born on March 3 rd also! I personally go by weeks so we say he's 1 month on the 31 first

I thought about that yesterday bc it was 4 weeks since I had her but she was born March 4th so I'm considering her a month on April 4th.... Think of it as you would birthdays... We don't go by weeks we go back the date.

It works the same way as a calendar works. A month from today would be May 1st. A month doesn't always mean four weeks.

I go by birth date. Baby won't be one until that date a year from birth so I don't go by weeks because that's not what you do for birthdays...
