Im 12 weeks pp and one of my stitches came out i went to use the bathroom and saw it on the toilet seat is it normal for them to fall out or should i contact my ob?

Update= i meant to put 12 days pp

My doctor had said not to be surprised if I saw a stitch in my pad/panty liner eventfully, but can't remember at what point this was normal. So much information thrown at me at once I cant keep it all straight lol

The sutures dissolve over time, and the amount of time depends on the type of suture used. If you were 12 days pp I would say definitely call, but 12 weeks pp most of the sutures should already be dissolved anyway.
