4'11 c-section?

Question

Today I was at my doctors appointment and my doctor asked me how talking was and what shoes size I wear? I told him I was 4'11 and a size 3. Then he went on and told me that I might have to get a c-section because I'm so small. I really wanted a natural birth. Is anybody else 4'11 With this problems? I want to avoid a c-section as much as possible.

Just remember. He works for you. Not the other way around. If there is no medical reason for c section then you don't have too

I'm 4'9", and my doc hasn't mentioned anything about a c-section because I'm small. If that happened I would push to have a vaginal birth or at least try.

I'm 4'11 I weigh about 89 before pregnancy, I've given birth to 2 boys both natural and didn't have any issues besides very very long labor

I'm 4'11" and had a 7 lbs 10 oz. baby that was 21 inches long naturally . I did get a bunch of stitches but it was possible. Ask further questions as to why he wants to do a c-section?

I'm 4'10 and my doctor hasn't mentioned anything to me about a c-section at all. I'm only 23 weeks, and I'm not sure how far along you are. But I think it depends how wide your hips are too. I have fairly big hips for some one my height and I'm betting the closer we are to delivery he will start checking to see if the baby would fit through my hips! If you're naturally small hipped, it may be part of why he's considering c-section for you!
