What is a good BC pill? Or other (not implant or IUD)

I have never been on birth control and I have a doctors appointment next week. Does anyone know of a good pill with low hormones?

I prescribe Lutera for most of my patients. It is low dose and seems to not affect people too much :-)

Ortho tricyclin is are a low dose bcp that mimics the natural hormone fluctuation of your body so you won't have as many side effects.

I have the IUC Paraguard. I know u said no IUDs, but this one is hormone free and can stay in for up to 10 years!! And I'm pretty sure it's the most effective birth control out there!!! It's over 99.99% effective!!

I prefer progestin only pills. I have less side effects with them compared to mixed pills

I take norinyl. Have been on it for over a year. Haven't noticed any side effects.
