From another post I'm really surprised by the amount of people that said they would use spanking as a form of disciplining. I don't think this solves anything. I think talking firmly haha and grounding/time out esp requiring that they apologize and explain what they feel they did wrong is the most important.

Also has parents we have to stick to our rules and no bending them.

Please explain your rationalizing for spanking a child? I'm just wondering why you feel this is effective
