It's really worrying me..

That I keep seeing more and more posts from moms saying "what do babies eat until your milk comes in" and "can I refuse hospital formula until mt milk comes in" and "how long can a baby go without eating after birth, cuz my milk won't be in yet"

It's called colostrum. It's what your body produces before milk. It's very rich in nutrients and it's what baby needs in those first few dsys. Please, Do NOT deny your hungry baby food because "your milk hasn't come in"

Isn't that kind of a form of child abuse.. Cause sometimes it takes days for your milk to actually come in.

Colostrum comes in first and is all your baby needs until milk comes in.

Gal pals! As a nurse. I'm coming at you professionally here...the baby will be juuuuust fine on what your body makes for them the first few days (I mean how have we had billions and billions of people survive all the years with out formula??) the baby will not be suffering, screaming out of starvation or anything like that while you're waiting for your milk to come in. What you produce is perfect and what they need.
