Baby mittens???

I got 3 pairs and look pretty small ...NB im guessing. How many pairs of mittens does a baby go thru? Or how many should i have???

None, our suits have built in ones it's so much easier then trying to keep the mitts on

I'd stick with the 3 pairs. My sister in-law gave me 2 pairs (I hadn't planned on buying any) and we never used them. They don't stay on, babies generally hate them, and really my daughter never scratched at her face. Just my experience there.

With my nephew we just used little socks and I'll probably do the same with mine. It's just easier and cheaper and still does the job.

We are using socks because our hospital doesn't allow mittens because they are a choking hazard same with socks but it's cheaper. But you only need a few pairs because you don't have to change them too often while baby is tiny.

We never used them. She scratched herself once in a while it was no big deal. She clawed me more then she clawed herself.

We bought one pack I think it's 3 pairs. We didn't use them with our son and he scratched his face up the first couple of days home from hospital.

Do you mean the little scratch mittens? We had 6 pairs but she's now 4 months old and I can count on 1 hand the amount of times our daughter wore them. They just came off because they were so big and then when they did fit she hated them and would fight to get them off. I'd wait to see what your baby thinks of them before buying any more. A lot of sleep suits have little things on the sleeves as well now which fold over babies hands - so cute :)
