Lube alternatives?

I just read someone uses coconut oil instead of lube, which is so intriguing to me!

Does anyone else use anything else instead of lube for penetration or have any experience with this?

With coconut oil or other oil based lubes, you shouldn't combine them with condoms because it increases the chance of the condom breaking. Silicone based lubes can't be used with silicone based toys as it'll cause the toys to degrade. Water based lubes are your best bet.

If you're ttc, my doc said there is no safe lube.

TTC should not use lube, but there are a few out there that don't seem to affect sperm negatively. I'm half tempted to use mustard seed oil since it makes sperm hyperactive.
