Life problem, not pregnancy related. Please help!!
I am in a rental agreement at an apartment (my name is on the lease) and my now ex boyfriend lives with me. He is trying to move out without paying rent and not helping pay the termination of lease fee (equivalent to 1 months rent). When we applied for the apartment we needed to qualify for credit check and 3x the amount of rent (meaning we had to make 3x the amount of rent per month, income wise) I was approved for the credit but he wasn't and I was denied for the income but he was approved. So my name is on the lease and he is somewhere on there stating he lives here...
Is he financially/legally responsible for helping pay the last month rent and termination fee?? Also, if he does not pay. Can I refuse him access to the apartment? He left and is trying to drain our account of all our money (conjoined account) and leave me with nothing. We just had a baby together 7 weeks ago and he's been cheating on me...I tried to follow him to her house tonight and he got mad and went to the bank to drain out all the money...
