Abdominal Ultrasounds?

Question

How early were you able to see your baby with an abdominal ultrasound? Trying to figure out when to schedule my first prenatal appointment. I'm terrified of a transvaginal! My last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage the day after I had a transvaginal ultrasound.

I had an abdominal done at 5 weeks 3 days and they could see the sac and baby in it. I then had another at 7 weeks and seen the heartbeat. Everyone is different though.

I had an abdominal ultrasound at 6+6 and saw the baby (or a little blob the sonographer claimed is the baby) and a little flickering heartbeat.  The scan pics are quite grey and grainy compared to a transvaginal ultrasound,  but I just wanted to know things were ok and I wasn't really bothered about the quality of the pictures.

I could see my baby abdominally at 5w6d and the heartbeat was 111bpm.

My first ultrasound was abdominal at 7 weeks 6 days. It wasn't perfectly clear but we saw the heartbeat, sac and baby just fine. I was very happy. I really didn't want the vaginal ultrasound but they didn't even mention it. Baby looked great!

I was 6 weeks and 2 days and you can see the baby clear as day the little blob anyways and heart the heart beat my baby's was 119

8 weeks. But I have a tilted uterus so it's harder to see on abdominal for a longer time.

I had abdominal u/sound at 5 wks 5 days and saw a heartbeat

My dr said to wait until 8 or 9 weeks and then USUALLY an abdominal will work. It's my 4th pregnancy so uterus is already nice and high. Also by 8 weeks you can see baby and get the heartbeat. I did not want to go in too soon.
