Dying hair/tanning products??

Question

Has anyone checked with their doctors to see if dyeing your hair or using self tanning products are ok at any point during pregnancy? Obviously no tanning beds, I just mean fake tan in a bottle lol I'm asking because I haven't been able to see my OB and ask all these questions 😊

I read tanning lotions are totally safe, as spray on tans are not bc you can breath it in

I mean naturally hair dye and tanning lotion have toxins that your body absorbs, but I've been told that after the 12 week mark (just to be safe) it's okay to do it because not very much of the toxins are passed down to the baby.

My doctors suggests staying away from hair dye all together or just highlighting if necessary. Just remember your body will react different so your hair dye or tanning lotion might be different then expected. So probably do a small patch easily hidden first
