How did your weight affect your chance of getting pregnant?

My weight has gone from 130 to 160 in the last three years!! I am only 5ft tall and have a sitting office job that makes it super hard to loose weight! I am curious if your weight has a major impact on getting pregnant?  I have been trying for 10 month and so far I am not pregnant, my cycles have been messing up whole lot?

My weight is 300 pound me and my husband trying 12 month but i can't pregnant ?i'm very worry and for me is important . I love baby's, i bealive a God, maybe he ll help me ?

It just depends. I was 180 the first time. 235ish the first and second and around 250 the third. Not a problem at all getting pregnant, during pregnancy or delivering. Everyone is different though.

Weight can play a big role so try to eat healthy and try to get active even if it's just walking at lunch or after dinner. My friend is 5'4" and around 300lbs she couldn't get pregnant until  after she had the gastric bypass surgery then after a year of being at a healthy weight now she has two kiddos

I am right there with you!! I'm up to 170 or 169.and I'm 5'3. It doesn't get higher or lower than that. I also work behind a desk. My goal is to lose 45 pounds by January or February. It's been hard for me to lose weight. I get so insecure and my husband and a few friends of ours and myself have a dinner theatre show coming up on the 15th I have nothing to wear. I wear sweat pants all the time. It's been hard getting pregnant too. I thought I was and turns out I wasn't. That was a disappointment. So after I found out I wasn't I decided to stop trying and just focus on myself to get down to 125 (the weight im supposed to be at). I've tried advocare. It's a 24 day challenge diet. It's best to be at a healthy weight for conception. Also especially if u end up getting pregnant cause it's not safe for the baby.

Excessive weight can cause your periods to become irregular. It's important to maintain a healthy BMI for your height. When your periods are irregular it means your ovulating schedule is irregular as well. And sometimes you don't release eggs when things are out of wack. At least that is what my doctor told me with my irregularity. Certain months I will ovulate and others I won't.
