Weight loss goal: 7kg (15pounds) in 11 weeks
On returning from a short tropical island trip where I was in a wedding, I've made the decision to really make a sustained effort to reduce my weight. I'm 81.7kg/ 180 pounds. I'm only 161cm or 5ft 3". I'm feeling very motivated 😀
Many reasons: energy, appearance, confidence, ttc, snoring, pressure on my weak ankle... the list goes on!
My goal is to lose 640 grams/ 1 pound & 6oz per week. I aim to weigh 74.7kg/ 164 pounds or under on Monday 20 June.
My plans are simple. Walk a lot more everyday. Avoid added sugar, takeaway & fast food. Weekday lunches are mainly small serve of soup with a few rice crackers. If I buy lunch occasionally, I'll choose a healthy option such as rice paper rolls.
I walked to and from my local produce market yesterday to stock my fridge.
Dinners will be steamed vegetables 4 nights a week, just add some protein the other 3 nights. Snacks are yoghurt, stewed/ poached autumn fruit, raw/ whole food bars (comprising dates, oats nuts).
Drink more water & herbal tea. When I cook fruit, I'll use half stevia, a natural sweetener, half sugar. Small amount of alcohol allowable only during my period (as it would confirm I'd not yet be expecting).
Weigh myself twice a week - don't want to overdo it/ drive myself nuts. 😄
