Freaking out!!! Losing mucus plug at 30 weeks, should I be worried?

Question

I just got released from the hospital this morning after being on the monitors all night with contractions. Also they did a fetal fribronecton test that came back positive. Contractions have slowed and become less painful since last night. But lost what I'm pretty sure is my mucus plug about an hour ago along with a significant amount of clear fluid, enough to soak through & leave a big spot on my jeans. (I know it wasn't urine).
Ps. This is my 2nd pregnancy, first pregnancy was full term.

If your midwife said she's not worried for now that's good. Just make sure you do t take a bath... If your water broke you could be dilating.

Please call your doctor, especially if your water may have broken! ASAP. I heard you can get an infection!

Update: I talked to my midwife and she's comfortable with me staying home as long as contractions don't increase & i keep an eye on the fluid leakage. Not gonna lie, I don't want to go back in & get poked and prodded at if I don't have to.

Mucus plug is nothing to worry about, but the clear fluid leaking definitely is. Get to L&D!

Clear, odorless fluid is your water. Please go back to the hospital so they can do a test to see if it is for sure your water that broke. Good luck

Cal your doctor asap. That sounds like your water may have broke or have a leak. Discharge wouldn't soak through jeans. When I went into labor with my first that's how mine was. The nurse said I peed my self. No friggen way. Sure enough it was my water. Keep us updated. Hope everything is ok.
