UTI NO symptoms?

Has anybody been diagnosed with a UTI but had no symptoms?

Yes, asymptomatic bacteriuria should always be treated when found in pregnant women. It can very easily spread to the kidneys which carries a risk of fetal death.

Me! And yes, I took an antibiotic (macrobid). Talk to your doc about the testing they did if you're not sure you need an antibiotic. They can culture your urine if an initial test flags something to see what's causing it.

You don't want to me around with a uti, even if you don't have symptoms. They can progress rapidly and put you and the baby at risk. They're a high cause of preterm labor, and lots of women don't have symptoms. Talk to your doc about antibiotic concerns, but don't just avoid them or only take part because you feel fine. If you take an incompetent dose you could be setting yourself up fit a resistant infection that's harder to treat.

I'm kinda crossing my fingers that this IS the case for me... I've had blood and protein in my urine and am waiting on test results. HOPING AND PRAYING it's not preeclampsia

Following! I did. They said I had a lot of white blood cells in my urine and she said it's a uti. I have no burning sensation when I pee or no pain . So I want to know what would cause white blood cells to be in my urine. They also didn't put me on antibiotics .

I had my 12 week ultrasound today and they told me the same thing.  But I haven't had any symptoms at all.

Yes and they gave me antibiotics, went back, still had it but told me it's normal as long as I don't have symptoms.

I also got a yeast infection around 15 weeks and was taken care of after antibiotics.
