I'm breastfeeding my little girl is 10 days old and hasn't had a bowel movement in like 36 hours!!! Is this normal? She stays extremely gassy and fusses over it. My consultant said the gas would improve if I nursed her longer on each breast, something about the fat in the milk not getting to baby until after first 10 minutes. She's not colicky she just has a lot of gas! I'm concerned with her bowel movements though. Any advice? Suggestions?
