Estee Lauder Double Wear?

I've heard just amazing opinions and reviews on this foundation so I thought I'd give it a go. I'm so glad I didn't get the full bottle, just a free sample. I tried to apply it several times using different techniques - witg a damp/dry sponge, different brushes, with & without a moisturiser and primer, nothing worked. I guess my skin type is just complicated af. Any other thoughts on it?

I know right u hear all kinds of great reviews but I literally hate it but I bought the full bottle. I've tried every way to apply it. I feel it looks very streaky and it really changes color or "oxidizes" if you wear it for more then a few hours. I think I'll try Mac next

I use my eco tools flat top buffing brush and have no issues aside from sometimes it doesnt apply to my nose very well but nothing seems to apply to my nose well lol ive heard its not very good for dry skin and i find it doesnt appky as easily without using a primer first but I absolutely love mine
