Sick while in labor??

Question

I'm 38 weeks and just came down with a horrible cold.  My kids an husband has been fighting sickness this past week.  Anybody go into labor while sick? I'm dreading trying to deliver while sick and passing the sickness to the baby! I gave birth at 38 weeks with my other two, so I'm just praying this one will stay in a little longer...

Same here I've had the same head cold for over 2 weeks. I'm afraid I'll have him while sick I can't seem to get rid of it.

Im glad I am not the only one. I have been sick for almost 3 weeks . I have terriable lung congestion and its making it hard for me to breathe: ( i have tried everything to kick this sickness but i am all out of options and so scared ill be sick when i deliver

I had my last daughter while I was fighting a cold/sinus infection. Not gonna lie it was pretty awful. Not being able to breath through my nose totally threw me for a loop. And coughing while having a contraction was for the birds. But, she came fast and furious. 4 hrs from water breaking at home to baby in my arms at the hospital. The joy of labor, is it DOES eventually end ;). Hopefuply you are over, or at least mostly over, your cold before baby makes,an appearance.
