Age gap?

He's 26 and I'm 17. I met him at my job I'm a hostess/barback and he's the bartender. He's a really nice guy and hasn't taken advantage of me in anyway. I am aware of the age gap though and realize it would probably never work out. I'm just really confused and don't know what to do.

There's no reason for a 26 year old to be dating a 17 year old. He's too old for you, that age gap is too big. Taking advantage is why grown men go for teenagers, if he hasn't yet he will.

The fact you question it shows you aren't ready for the relationship. You have doubts about it.

It's not that big of a gap, but A LOT of maturing happens between those ages. Keep that in mind cause you more than likely won't see eye to eye on a lot of things.

I feel like if it bothers you enough to question it it might be too much. I generally say up to ten years max. But the furthest from my age I've been with is 9 years and my fiancé is currently only 4 years difference. But you aren't even legally an adult yet and that can get him in trouble  I say wait til you are 18 to experiment with the age gap thing
