How do you keep your hair when you sleep?

I wear a cap to protect my hair and keep it moisture at night or it will be dry in the morning

If my hair is wet I'll braid it before bed... If it gets too long I'll also braid it before bed or else I'll wake up with it choking me lol! But for now while it's only shoulderish length it's down, untied.
