After 7 unsuccessful months with irregular cycles (35-70 days), I finally saw a NP that specializes in women's health. She almost immediately brought up PCOS and has referred me to the offices fertility specialist. I'm not your typical PCOS sufferer (5'2" and 125), but in addition to my irregular cycles I have acne/oily skin, thin hair, poor sleep, and very spotty periods. Just venting here I guess - I'm feeling overwhelmed by the potential diagnosis, and terrified that children aren't in my future.
