I just go to my regular doctor. I guess she's a general practitioner. She checks everything though so it's not necessary to have a second doctor unless I was ttc or pregnant

I started going a few months after I turned 17. Although I wish I would've went sooner (14-15 ish just for check ups)

I only went at first to talk about birth control, talk about my options and get whatever we discussed.

I later then decided to get an examination because of how important it was for me as young woman.

Now I go every 3 months just because I like to keep check of my health "down there".

When I got pregnant with my first baby was my first time seeing any gyno.

If your having any period issues or worried about anything. If not than when ever your thinking your ready to start having sex. So you can be protected. Than after 17-18 once a year.
